Executive Team
Thomas R. Sedlak
Chief Executive Officer
Tom Sedlak joined the steel industry in 2008 as the Controller for Precision Marshall Steel. Since that time, he has held a variety of roles in senior and executive management including continuing to be the CEO of Kinetic's parent organization, Precision Marshall Steel.
Prior to the steel industry, Mr. Sedlak has held Controllership roles with PPG Industries and DQE Energy Services. His background includes turnaround management, finance, and strategy across several manufacturing industries.
Mr. Sedlak earned a bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University and an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
Jeff Midday
President
Jeff Midday joined Kinetic in 2023 as General Manager and has since been promoted to President of the organization. Having spent his entire career in manufacturing and design, Jeff brings a wide range of strategic, operational, and engineering leadership experience across the oil and gas, semiconductor, automation, heavy industry, and contract services sectors. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska, and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer.

Jeff Carr brings decades of leadership experience in industrial cutting solutions and metals processing. Prior to joining Kinetic, he served as Executive Vice President at IKS, leading strategic growth across the tissue and steel cutting markets. His industry knowledge, strong customer relationships, and track record building high-performing sales teams make him a key driver of growth at Kinetic - with a focus on strengthening partnerships with steel mills, service centers, toll processors, recyclers, and fabricators through responsive service and precision cutting solutions.
