Cash Masters – Kinetic’s Vice-President of Operations – missed this machine at an auction several years ago and patiently waited until the owner decided to sell it. It is the largest 400S grinder ever manufactured by the former Mattison Machine Works of Rockford, IL USA. He wasn’t going to let this machine slip though his fingers again. When it finally came up for sale after sitting in a warehouse he purchased it and is now in the process of getting it set up. This monster machine is a hybrid; a reciprocating table but with a Blanchard style head – made for high powered stock removal. The table length is 36” x 204” [914mm x 5181mm]. Cash is currently setting it up and it will be soon joined in service by a smaller Mattison 400S grinder – this one has a table size of 42” x 144” [1066mm x 3657mm].

These machines are being set up and operating in a temporary location until our new plant addition is finished in mid-2009. At that time they will be re-located to our Greendale, WI facilities.
