Located in Sheffield, England, Microblade Limited has a 200-year history in the manufacture of log and facial saws. Dedication to quality products and comprehensive customer service has made Microblade the world leader in circular saw manufacturing.

Joseph Masters purchased Microblade in 1985 to increase the worldwide production and distribution of these high-quality blades which are used in the sanitary paper industry. In 1989, Microblade earned the prestigious Queen’s Award for Export Achievement, allowing the Queen’s emblem to be emblazoned on all products for 5 years. All winners of this award are invited to Buckingham Palace to meet The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.

The quality standards at Microblade are rigorous and the manufacturing processes are exacting. Only the finest steel is used for the saws, each one laser-cut to minimize stressing and maintain flatness. Heat-treating and finishing operations are done in house to control quality. Each saw is hand-smithed to eliminate hammermarks that may cause cracking.
