Rocky Sperka won WSGA Senior Player of the Year honors in 2020

Kinetic CEO Rocky Sperka won WSGA Senior Player of the Year honors in 2020 thanks to his solid play in Wisconsin’s biggest senior golf events.

As a member of the Tuckaway Country Club, he stood out at multiple times during the season, including finishing second in the WSGA Mid-Amateur Championship in September. This year Sperka was so strong that he also ended up eighth on the WSGA male points list.

His other achievements were to tie for third at the WSGA Senior Amateur Championship in August and tie for fifth at the senior Wisconsin State Open in September.

In June, he advanced to the Round of 16 at the WSGA Match Play Championship at The Club at Strawberry Creek before being eliminated. In the same month, during the team game, Sperka partnered with Brad Niswonger of Elm Grove to win the rough title at the WSGA Senior Bestball.

In a tough decision, Rocky Sperka beat Kevin Cahill of Waukesha as the best player of the year and ended the season with 1,097.50 points compared to 1,006.25 points for Cahill.
