A customer came to us with a 60” [1524mm] gear hobbing table. They wanted it ground flat to within .0005” [.0127mm] and with a TIR of less then .0005” [.0127mm]. “No sweat” when you have the right equipment for the job and our 84” [2133mm] Blanchard Rotary Grinder made short work of a hard job and gave our customer a gear hobbing table re-ground to as-new specifications.
