Used in shear slitting operations when the change out speed for the bottom slitter anvil is critical
Using techniques developed and refined by Kinetic with the use of an allen wrench you can quickly take the split bottom slitter anvil off the machine shaft and replace it with a sharp anvil. Then you simply bolt the worn slitter anvil halves together and send them out for sharpening.

The additional cost of this feature is immediately recouped by the dramatic drop in machine downtime. Instead of having to pull the shaft and slide the anvils off – often talking hours – you unbolt the dull anvils in minutes.

These split bottom slitter anvils are made from AISI D-2 Tool Steel and through hardened for long life.
